Davis Contracting has worked on our roof. It's been an ongoing process, and they always go the extra mile to make sure they get the job done both quickly and correctly.
Davis Contracting have done several roofs for us and window leaks. Primarily they have repaired the roofs. We don't like to replace roofs when we can have them repaired. They gave us good options for that. We've worked with them for about a year now. They have pretty good prices and do quality work. Mike seems like he's a very good guy and tries to give you a fair price. I would recommend them....
Worst contractor I have had dealings with. Had to come back three times and it still is not correct. Would never hire these people again. Wish I had gone with someone else. Never listened to me and did things the wrong way. All they wanted was the check and to be gone. Bad all the way around.
Damaged overhang not replaced as billed for - just plastered over. Very poor sanding/scraping. Lied about fixing leak. Paint chips all over. Broke branches on bush. Forgot to paint door top. Threw paint on grass. Ruined storm door with power wash paint job to fix it very poor. No paint left for touch-ups. Paint spatters all over the bricks. Painted shut the storm windows to the window sill...
Initially I was impressed because he made a point of showing me that he was insured and bonded. But once the work started, he tried to tell me I needed work in another area (that had already been done), and then he charged me extra for paint -- even though the paint charges were the largest part of the bill. Be sure to get him to describe exactly what is and is not covered in the estimate. ...
