Charged $150. for a size 2 to be altered to a 0 (but didn't order the 0 in the first place) and bustling. The alterations lady was RUDE and headstrong as to how SHE wanted my daughter's dress bustled and rolled her eyes at our suggestions. I feel totally taken advantage of and highly suggest alterations ANYWHERE would be a better / less expensive experience.

In ShortA chic, sleek boutique, it's not. But those willing to look carefully will likely find a big-time bargain. The staff is helpful and knows the merchandise but doesn't provide extensive one-on-one attention or advice. Stores (particularly on weekends) can be swamped with brides-to-be. David's specializes in beaded satin A-lines and simple lace sheaths that just hit the $500 mark. Most labels are tasteful but of medium-quality: Gloria Vanderbilt, Lady Eleanor, Oleg Cassini and the likes.

My sister got all of her dresses at Davids Bridal for her wedding party. She was very satisfied with all that they had gotten. The prices were pretty good and the staff was very knowledgable. She had several recommendations from different people and was glad she had decided to go with them. Their prices on alteratins was on the high end, but she had them done there anyway.

We got 3 bridal party dresses and 1 flowergirl dress from the David's Bridal in Flint. The customer service and the prices were good. The dresses came in before expected.The only thing I didn't like was the alterations department. They were rude. They wanted too much money and too much time to do simple alterations. We took all the dresses elsewhere to be altered.

I got my dress here for my girlfriends wedding. Most of the girls in the wedding needed alterations done on their dressed. Davids Bridal did all of our dresses and we where all pleased with them. I do not know how they do on other clothing.
