I've eaten lunch at Dave's many times. Bea is a wonderful person and remembers each customer's name. The food is always fresh, prepared quickly and the drinks are always refreshing. Eat in the bank vault - it's really a neat experience. Go there - you won't be sorry!

Dave's is one of the best choices for lunch in downtown Albany. The small shop is half cooking area & half seating, with only about 8 tables seating from 2-4 people on a first come basis. The line for lunch is frequently the length of the building, but the friendly staff is efficient and the line rarely takes more than a couple of minutes to get through.

On the downside, the space is a bit cramped. During the summer it can be difficult to find a table so you may want to plan on taking your food out to the park down the street. (Just order it to go.)
