Excellent little restaurant with super attentive and friendly staff who know their customers by name. Food is healthy and delicious. Great place for breakfast, especially. Highly recommend the walnut butter.

Dardenelles is on Monroe. A neat restaurant. I would say higher end, more classy non traditional food.

Great restaurant with pleasant wait staff. The food is delicious (i've tried several of the dishes), & the atmosphere is calm, relaxing, & appropriate for the cuisine. No complaints at all!

I have to disagree with the review that faulted the Dardanelles for its service. Maybe this couple isn't into "slow food" and is more used to eating "fast food." I find Dardanelles to be one of the friendliest, most genial restaurants in town. We are all in too much of a hurry. The hostess often serves us when we go, and we like her especially. My husband & I just went to The Dardanelles for resaurant week for lunch 1/30. I love Mediterranian food, so I really wanted to experience something great. Unfortunately we found the service there poor at best. Our waitress only waited on us after being there for about 15-20 min. After that it took another 15 min to get our salad. After another 15-20 min wait we spoke to the hostess to complain...
