The original Dan McGuinness Pub was designed by Sonas Design, manufactured in Ireland, shipped to New Orleans then it was put on a train and railed up to Memphis, Tennessee. Their five Irish Gents were brought over to assemble it. From the floors to the ceiling to the table and the chairs the Dan McGuinness Pub is the only authentic Irish Pub in Memphis Tennessee.

This restaurant is divided into two sections a dining area directly as you enter and a bar/lounge through a door to the right. We chose the dining area with it's heavy wood tables and wood seats. The decor is dark and "pubby"...seems just right for an Irish Pub.

The scotch eggs were amazing and I have never had such delicious corned beef on a rueben before. The drinks are good, a nice selection of beers. The live music was a bit much, but our table was right in front of the stage. They had great television access for all the games in the bar area. I can't wait...
