My wife and I were there for an early dinner (5:15 PM) - no crowd, no waiting. We ordered draft beers, and dinner after the beers were served. We received the house fried savory bread fritters(?) - which arrived with garlic butter sauce. Warm and tasty. She ordered baked trout and house vegetable(s). I ordered fried catfish, potatoes, and slaw....

We had a reservation for the Thanksgiving buffet and were blown away by the customer service, hospitality and the chef's buffet offerings. Every staff member we came in contact with seemed genuinely happy to have us dining with them. I could have made a meal on the salad and butternut squash soup - wonderful! Staying at the Damascus Old Mill Inn for a long weekend and had dinner twice at the restaurant. The dining room is comfortable and has great views of the Laurel river. The menu offers a very nice variety and many good selections for a gluten free meal. The staff was very accommodating when I told them I needed gluten free...

Good food and beer selectrion

Was in town for Trail Days and we were killing time and decided to stop in. Had a few great beers and nibbled on some delicious food. The deck was lovely with the view of the river and ducks and the cool shaded breeze was refreshing.

Food ok, Wine really bad

Wife enjoyed rainbow trout dinner.
I had shrimp and grits which was good but a very small portion. 5 small shrimp... maybe 30-40 count and a small portion of grits. I added a salad to get full..
They have a very limited wine list and a very poor selection. This was recommend by locals in town as the best restaurant...
