Top Notch Chain Restaurant

Dakota is a chain restaurant, but unless you happened to know that you probably would not expect it. Great Place to eat.... We will go back

Good: My family and I ate at the Dakota Restaurant in Latham on Saturday night. It was absolutely amazing!! We havent been there in a while b/c we recently moved back into the area. Our server was outstanding and our food was perfect!! We also split an Amazing pice of Carrot Cake, by far the best I have had in years. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a great meal, and outstanding...

Small portions

This restaurant has a friendly and peaceful atmosphere. The decor is like outdoor/Adirondack. The food is very expensive and the portions that you get are very small and not that great tasting. Fair food and over priced

I went there today, 2/14/2010. The service was great. The salad bar selections were minimal. I ordered a steak which was tough and perhaps 1/3 of it was really good the rest was tough. Nicely cooked baked potato but it had little or no potato flavor. Over priced food. I doubt if I will return. Just a below average place. However many people are undiscerning and have tendencies to find all food...

I was disappointed that I was unable to use a $50 Mastercard Gift card at this restaurant. At one time we loved this restaurant but now it's pricey and the fireplace ambience has been removed. The chef did not prepare the steak according to the menu's description scale of rare to well done. Suggest you shop around before taking this one.
