Always refreshing and good. The new royal treats are great especially the strawberry cheesecake one. Reasonable cost too. Friendly staff as well

I usually stop in sometime when I am in Appomattox. The staff are friendly, and the food is always good. I have been going here since 1974, and it is always good.

We try to avoid chains when eating, but a special draw brought us here. Friendly smiling service, and always tasty soft serve...yummy!

Diner feels like the 70's

I felt as tho i had walked back in time when we walked into this Dairy Queen. Two opens windows at the counter, one for ordering and one for picking up!! It was warm and inviting. And as usual, the ice cream was delicious!!!

We were very thankful for the DQ; their burgers aren't bad, so we didn't have to worry about where to eat after a full day of touring in Appomattox. It's also very close to the motel, Super 8. Just as importantly, it's very easy to find from the historical park (just stay straight after exiting the park, making a left)...
