A Lone Star State Tex-Mex chain makes its first foray into Northern Virginia with a ranch-sized outpost in the Mosaic District, where it's offering fancy margaritas and upscale entrees (think lobster enchiladas), along with the familiar basics. Look for happy hour drink hoisting in the glitzy, sunset-hued mezzanine bar, while families and friends gather at the tables and roomy booths.

I used Waze to find the restaurant and it led me right to a free parking garage right across a driveway from the restaurant.
There were four of us for lunch and they seated us in a quiet area so we could talk. Three of us ordered from the lunch menu--2 choices and the 4th person had soup and salad....

First service at empty bar is super slow.
Second their is nothing positive we were 3 and all of us order different things and none it was different than getting food at chilis.
Mexican, tex-mex food can be so much better than this.

Service was good, food was good, prices were reasonable. Nothing wrong to report. There wasn't anything that was special or over the top. We would stop again if we were in the area but there are a lot of places to try in the Mosaic District so we may try something else before circling back here. I would definitely give...
