Hands down the best place to get alterations done in central Illinois. I am always treated with respect and they have helped me out when some emergency alterations needed to be made and they were able to make a quick turnaround that other places wouldn't even consider. Anytime I buy a suit, my next stop is to custom house. Consider me a lifelong customer and fan,

I had a very different experience. I walked in to ask for an alteration and the owner looked very annoyed. Not friendly at all. She told me she wasn't taking anymore right now. There are much better ways to turn a customer away. Also customer service skills need to be improved greatly.

I had a pair of pants hemmed recently. Very friendly and they had my pants ready on time (I told them no rush and picked them up a week later). The hem itself could be better: I could see the stitch line from the outside of the pants. It makes me too nervous for them to try to shorten the sleeves of my suit jacket.
