By far the best sushi restaurant in Nassau county for authentic Japanese cuisine.
Their ramen at lunch time the best I have had.

Looking around the restaurant you will sometimes hardly believe you are in Floral Park, as you see the establishment filled with Japanese expatriates enjoying their lunch.

By all accounts a small restaurant on a rather bland stretch of a turnpike shouldn't be THIS impressive. Torigo is a discovery on so many levels from its owners to its chefs to its wait staff...it's simple but fresh décor...AND...the food: perfectly prepared, preciously served and better than most any Japanese restaurant I've ever been to...in the city, the states...
