We saw this cupcakery listed on the food network site for places to eat in Minneapolis. We popped in to the location at the Mall of America but since they had a small selection, we decided to try one of the store front locations. I really wanted to like the cupcakes at Cupcake, but they are just mediocre. The orange and key lime flavors both tasted artificial, the vanilla, amaretto, caramel, were boring and I can't even remember the 6th flavor we tried, it was so forgettable. They did have a croissant/donut fusion that was delicious, but I expected great cupcakes from a place...

While enjoying an extra long weekend of shopping at the Mall of America, we discovered Cupcake. They not only had one but some times three or four different flavors of gluten free cupcakes. Choices! We visited Cupcake every day! The chocolate ones (Raspberry Chocolate & Aretha Franklin with peanut butter were much better than the Strawberry Lemon and Blueberry Lemon)....

And so we tried this place in Eagan to have dinner and cupcakes. We thought that we'd find better tasting food somewhere else that is worth our money. The flatbread is like burnt and dry.
