Cubby's Chicago Beef

Tri-tip sandwich is fantastic. I added the blue cheese to make it even better. We are also huge fans of the buffalo fries. The tri-tip salad is also good. As one who grew up in Chicago, though, I'm a little disappointed by the Italian beef which is a Chicago original and staple. The beef was ok, but the giardinaire is blah.

Went there with my family last evening after an event. I'd heard good things and was anxious to try it. The place is nice, clean and efficiency. The food was a huge disappointment. Every time I visit Cubby's I am impressed with the quality of the food. Everything I have ordered has always been delicious. Nice to see a small town place take off.
