This lounge was much better when owned by the Sax hotel Since the change to Hotel Chicago, the guest DJs and vibe is different.
Come early and enjoy a martini and light music but late night is crowded and the music is geared more towards the 21 crowd.

I asked for customized drink on coconut. Of course, I gave a challenge to the bartender and I wanted to see if he is creative and he'd able to get out of the box. The Crimson Lounge bartender brainstormed his creativity and splashed the best one. I got an unforgettable cocktail ever! Bravo to the creative bartender even the menu...
Now this is what a lounge should be like! Velvet wallpaper. Thick lush fabrics. High back chairs. And, of course, delicious cocktails. This place is awesome.

Crimson Lounge: An experience of a different color
On the Menu: The bar menu features both very light stuff, like truffle oil-doused popcorn, and more substantial items, like sliders with frites.
Where to Sit: Nooks, both large and small, line the perimeter. Semi-private rooms are great for bigger groups, but if it's intimacy you need, they have that, too.
Parking: Your options abound, from occasional spots along Kinzie to pay lots to valet.
The Extras: One area near the bar, a little raised and cleared of most furniture, serves as a stage for frequent live music. Expect mostly jazz and DJs.
Know Before You Go: They offer table (bottle) service, hotel rooms upstairs, bring out bottles of champagne with sparklers for birthdays, comp hotel rooms for our biggest spenders like Vegas does.
