CP Curtin was contracted for a bathroom remodel. During this time, there was significant damage caused to our home and personal items resulting from the area not being properly sealed off. CP Curtin acknowldged this damage and agreed to reimburse us for a professional post construction clean as well as a light fixture his sub broke. CP Curtin was provided with a written estimate from the cleaning company prior to the clean. Upon completion of contracted job, an invoice was sent for the final 25% of the contracted price. This amount was less than the cost due from damages. We sent CP Curtin the invoices as well as the (small) balance that was actually owed back to us. We never received any follow up correspondance or reimbursement. (Please also note that Mr. Curtin became increasingly disengaged from the job after this mishap from his sub and seemed to resent us intensely for holding him accountable for the damage as the GC on the job. He kept on insisting the job was complete that clearly wasn't- such as electrical plates being left uninstalled, etc. We are not seeking resolution on these items but provide this as contextual information regarding his professionalism) In his contract and in an email, CP Curtin states they provide a one year warranty on labor. The job was completed on Nov 28, 2012. The walls of the glass shower they installed have shifted significantly due to improper installation and continue to shift more with each use. Not only do they allow for leakage, there is also a safety issue present as it appears the heavy glass door will eventually fall off. When contacted regarding this, CP Curtin advised me that he never received payment for this job and hung up. He also did not respond to email correspondance that included- copies of the invoices as well as pictures of the impropertly stalled shower walls.
As a general contractor- CP Curtin was plain awful. He essentially would just be the scheduler- he would wait for his subs to arrive, take off, and then not even come back to check the work. He would then email us or call to tell it was c...

Chris was very responsive and consistently provided a high level of quality on our project. Our project was to finish our basement, which meant Chris had to coordinate with plumbers, electricians, carpet people, and a ceiling installer. All were hassle free from my perspective. Also, the project was finished right on budget. I would definitely recommend him.
From the very first visit we felt comfortable and believed we could trust you. Trust is very important to us and you earned it with no trouble. We cherished your enthusiasm and ongoing desire to make us happy. . We have stalled on this project for the time being due to a family issue, but Chris Curtain was execellent in the process up to this point - when we resume the project, I hope that he and his team will be available to continue the excellent service!
