Courtyard hotels are predictable - the rooms are similar, the lobbies pretty much the same, etc. The Tupelo Courtyard is older. The rooms on the front of the hotel face an Outback restaurant. The lighting is bright and there's some road noise. Ask for a room on the back side of the building. What makes this Courtyard above average is...

Amazing People, Nice Property, but no sleep

It's a nice hotel. It was Tuesday night when I arrived. They had tacos and music - so unlike a normal Courtyard.
The room is nicely updated. The front desk folks and morning bistro folks are amazingly good.
The gym - two treadmills and an eliptical. Needs a bike. The eliptical was being used and I couldn't work out.

The property is 'standard' Courtyard fair; a bit dated with room colors that could probably use an update. Bed was wonderfully comfortable, water pressure was good and rooms were nicely quiet. Stayed here on my way down the Nachez Trace. Location to the parkway is ideal for an easy night. It is right next to an Outback Steakhouse which is ideal for an easy meal after you check in. The room was clean but a bit dated. Staff was nice and check in and out was easy.
