While traveling to South Caroline, we decided to stop in Georgia for the night about 9 pm and not make the next few hours of drive time.
We came upon the Courtyard Marriott on a booking site. We came into the lobby to check in......Well the young man at the desk just looked puzzled and didn't care to welcome us...
My wife and I planned to sit by the pool to relax after a day of shopping.
Imagine our surprise when the Courtyard had no courtyard, just an indoor pool which was closed for renovation - not even an outside chair anywhere. When We ordered burgers at the bistro, they were out of lettuce. This property does not measure up to "Courtyard." Name it something else.
Loved our stay at this hotel! They had a restaurant on property, a starbucks, and the staff was wonderful! We had two rooms and both the rooms and the bathrooms were very clean. We will definitely return!!
I was not aware that this hotel was being renovated... And not a single person was willing to tell me before I paid money. The pool was out of service and I was still charged $139.00 a night and we had 2 rooms. I was never offered a discount or even an apology for the pool. I would have never...
