I live nearby, but not been here in a year. Good food! I arrived at6am, opening time, and was graciously greeted by the waitress. Great service; place filled up fast! Get there early; place sits maybe 30? I had the Denver omelet! Great! Try it out! You'll be happy all day! ??

Really great place thats perfect for a fuel up before heading into the park, or on the way out. Must be noted that it is cash only, and it may take a little bit for your food depending on how busy it is. The place is small, but the food is great. No fancy chef food here, just some good...

When you look at this place from the outside, you just have to smile. What a cute, quaint, old time diner, Country Kitchen brings back memories from my youth. We used to stop at little "hole in the wall" diners like this when I was a kid. As already stated, there is only about 10 tables and a 5 seat...

Only 24 seats and a half-dozen stools, this is an old school small-town diner. Nothing pretentious, just simple food prepared by pop and served by mom, with caps and bags and such adorned with mom's bits of wisdom by their daughter. Nothin' fancy, and I would go back.

Continued from previous review... Reasonably priced. Warning: cash only! ( no plastic accepted). A gave ofine when doing errands on Joshua Tree climbing trips. Have breakfasted there on many occasions.

Roadside breakfast shack, with some surprises. In addition to waffles, bacon & eggs with their special homemade salsa, chicken-fried steak, fresh-squeezed OJ, you can also try -surprise- some delicious, vegetarian-friendly Southeast Asian dishes.
