This Italian deli is a one of a kind in Vermont. Fresh seafood and Italian food brought in daily. The small kitchen cooks up some of the best fresh, whole foods in town. We always try to stop there when in Middlebury.

There is both good and bad in this review. The bad is simply that Costellos is four hours from where I live. Stopped here during a visit to Middlebury. Everything looked very fresh. I had a small eggplant grinder and I regret that I didn't order the bigger one. The eggplant was lightly and freshly fried, the sauce was fresh...

Every summer we make sure to grab a sandwich or two here because they have great ingredients and very well thought out combinations. Today we had the prosciutto and Capicola with some fresh mozzarella served hot. Absolutely amazing.
