My wife and I ate here and were blown away by the delicious tasting pancake, yep, they make you say "wow, THAT is good!". My wife had the eggs Benedict, which she rated "very very good in taste!" Over all we recommend it highly. Wonderful service and nice people.

A great local place in Cortez. I found Cortez Café welcoming when I stopped in this morning. Although it was still early on this Saturday there were already several other customers. Friendly nods from others greeted me. It may have been my unshaven look, I noticed several of us sported grey breads. My friendly server brought me coffee within a few minutes.

More than just a restaurant, the Cortez Cafe is a morning ritual for many members of the Bradenton community since 1980. It is a locally owned family business, and it is the perfect way to start a day at the beach or out fishing. It offers bountiful, traditional breakfasts and lunches and is the best food for miles.
