What the community has to say about Corazon y Miel

Information about this business (3)

Located on Atlantic Avenue, Corazon y Miel is the place to be for a scrumptious fare. The renowned chef Eduardo Ruiz draws inspiration from classic Mexican and South American recipes to bring exciting new flavors. The restaurant's menu features dishes like braised oxtail and jalapeno burger. It has been voted among "Top 101 Restaurants" by LA Times.

A collision of flavors, influences, and all things Latin.

Corazon y Miel is a loving translation of family recipe, culinary inspiration, and Latin flavors.

Our menu is a collision of the food & culture we grew up with along with the modern boldness and culinary creativity that inspires us.

Behind this concept is the trio of Chefs Eduardo Ruiz and Travis Hoffacker along with managing partner Robin Chopra.

Muchísimas Gracias.

Editorial reviews from the web (4)

This cozy Pan-Latin in Bell offers interesting, well-priced dishes inspired by Mexico and South America like braised oxtail and a burger topped with jalapeño relish; the setting features old brick walls decorated with original art.

This unique restaurant applies some of the most interesting elements of modern cooking to a pan-Latin menu. And because it's in Bell, not Beverly Hills, the prices are shockingly low. The cocktail program has more depth than appears, and the bartenders can go off-book if it's not too busy.

Former Animal sous chef has a happening Latin American-influenced menu like chicken hearts in honey, pig skin salads and strong margaritas served in candle holders.

The best micheladas EVER. It's a bit of trek to Bell but so worth it. The food is interesting, affordable and the cocktail program is serious.

So we had a bit of everything. Queso Fundido, dates, ceviche, bacon wrapped jalapeños that was to start. For dinner we had ox tail and ribs. My favorite was the dates. My goodness it was orgasmic....

I like this place. Go there or not go there, what do I care, I don't know you. Food is good though and they have a gringo bar tender from New York, he makes pretty solid drinks. The house drinks...

There is no signage lit up at night, so this place was hard to find. But I'm so glad we found it. The service was great and the food was excellent. I wasn't even craving ceviche but I'm so glad...
