the cooler has been closed for about 2 1/2 years. they turned it into a lame video poker bar.

Age old bar keeps up with the times.

In ShortWith two solid, but shy, decades under its beergut,this place introduced live music. Catch live rock and punk on Friday and Saturday nights, when the bar draws a crowd of noise-hungry, high-cred punks. If you're put off by the punk thing, try the bar on a weeknight, when it draws a low-key crowd of blue-collars and bluehairs who shoot the breeze over darts and pitchers.
