The staff of caretakers are wonderful but management makes promises they don't keep. My mother was there & had to go to the hospital. They wouldn't allow her back. Not only unethical & unprofessional but illegal.
They put us through hell.

I think Gorham House is really a good facility. They have really good food. The staff are caring and I think some are very knowledgeable and perceptive on how to take care of a patient with brain injury. The staff enjoys where they work.

My grandfather was a resident at the Gorham House. He had late stage Alzheimer's and after home care was too difficult he was moved here to be close to our family and get the 24/7 care he needed. The staff was always pleasant and welcoming. There interaction on both a personal and medical level left us at ease knowing that our loved one was well cared for. The facility was clean and well kept....

I recently visited the assisted living unit of Gorham House abd was very impressed. The residents there were well cared for. They looked very happy. The staff was very caring and interacted well with their residents. They talked as well as listened to their residents. The call lights were answered in a timely manner.
