We were in room 202, corner room facing 7th St. The bed was rock hard, no padding and made so much noise creaking when turning. Really in 2016, major chain hotel. This was a deal breaker. Staff from Front Desk to Breakfast servers were rude and not customer friendly. It took us 3 separate tries to even check in and it took forever to get our room. We come to San Diego several times a year and the Comfort Inn Gaslamp is "always" our hotel of choice. Shawn is always help with our stay and Mike is accommodating and friendly. We have referred many friends to the hotel. Whenever we come we always bring others with us. Always a great experience!
