Comfortable...Could use an improvement or two

I stayed here as a single business traveler for 3 nights. Check-in was quick, though they were kind enough to welcome me back.
My room, 113, was somewhat noisy- it is next door to the maintenance area, and you can tell. Various dryer-y noises and whatnot didn't keep me awake, but they were noticeable. Then again, nothing could have kept...

Clean and affordable - good value

If you are expecting service and luxury – the Fairfield Inn is not the place to stay. If however, what you want is an affordable clean room in Columbia with a consistent quality, then the Fairfield will fit the bill. The motel is well maintained, the breakfasts are also nicely setup – a good value in this college town full of motels. Right on top of I-70 – expect road noise.
