What the community has to say about Columbia Tower Observation Deck

Information about this business (1)

This building doesn't have the tourist cache of the Space Needle, but it is higher by almost 100 meters and cheaper to enter by several dollars. The 941-foot building, Columbia Center (Bank of America Tower), is the second tallest west of the Mississippi. Take in spectacular views of the Cascade and Olympic Mountain ranges, Puget Sound and area lakes, plus educational views of the freeway...

No need to earn 200K for an unbeatable view from this executive vantage point.

In Short
Executives scurry past on errands as you find your way up to the 73rd floor observation deck using two high-speed elevators. The undeniably spectacular view is worth the...

I like the space and find it strangely comforting. There are different levels to sit at and a variety of spaces to fit your needs. Sometimes I feel like being alone and sit in a secluded corner....

I come here a lot cause my office is nearby. There are tons of choices for a quick lunch. Lots of unhealthy choices and a few healthy ones too! Love it. I almost always, like 99.9999% of the time...

This is the tallest building in downtown Seattle and you get great views from the public observation deck. There is also a Starbucks on the 40th floor

Tips about this business (4)

Where to Sit

The observation area is decked out in comfy leather chairs--thanks to the office setting--from which you can kick back and enjoy a view of the surrounding mountain ranges.

Know Before You Go

Enter the building from 5th Ave. Take one of the elevators on the left to the 40th floor, exit, turn the corner and enter an elevator to the final destination (73rd floor).

When to Go

Plan your ascent for a weekday, the deck is closed on weekends. For a weekend view, try nearby Smith Tower.

The Extras

Ladies, the restroom has been written up in national publications for good reason. Make sure you pay it a visit before you go.
