I have had two children with this practice and have been receiving routine gynecologic care for 5 years. The time each midwife gave to me was above and beyond what I ever imagined possible. All the midwives provided me with valuable information, but even more impressive was their ability to cater to my individual needs. I really had a difficult time with this practice. I decided to try going to a midwife for my routine gynecological care, hoping that they would have more perspective and would possibly be better listeners. Unfortunately, I was wrong. The CNM didn't read anything that I had written before the appointment--and proceeded to suggest a supplement that I had already tried. She was reluctant to discuss any options beyond putting me on a medication and seemed very annoyed that I should want to consider anything else.
