It saddens me greatly to run across this review. I had Clone Stone installed on my house in November 2007. I did extensive research on this type of stone. I had considered natural stone as well. After seeing Clone Stone and their display area, I was very impressed. A gentleman, who I think was the owner, walked with me to where the stone was displayed. He explained to me about the stone.
I set up an appoint for him to come out and measure the area I wanted stoned. Clone Stone also installed my stone for me. They did a fabulous job. I couldn't be more pleased.
Now my 2 neighbors and the couple on the next block have gone there and having this stone installed on their house. They were all very pleased with the courtesy and knowledge the people had.
Two of us are now considering installing the stone on our fireplaces and possibly on the BBQ pit in the back yard.
I would recommend Clone Stone to anyone. A great job Clone Stone Manufacturing
and you have wonderful employees to work with.
I do know that you can't always please all of the people all of the time. And some can never be pleased.
I had previously used Clone Stone for my custom home. The service was great and the install was done cleanly and professionally. I recently return to Clone Stone for my new home and found that the management had drastically changed. The great service that was previously there was replaced by a dirty guy who just managed to stop smoking long enough to point me to pick out my own stone. I was basically treated like my business was not really worth their effort or consideration.
I would suggest that anyone considering this company really do some research. I personally went with another company and I am even happier then with my previous stone.
