Management staff at this facility is some of the most unprofessional I have ever seen. They are rude and belittling over the phone. If you can get them on the phone and even then I've been hung up on. I have seen most of the management team doing private yoga together during time they should be working. (9-10 am) You won't see them slumming it with people they charge too much for their gym....
My family and I are not at all impressed with this YMCA. I've been to just about every Y facility in the greater okc metro area, including Edmond and Stillwater, and I have never encountered such horrible customer service. It's definitely a management issue. Overall, the plentiful staff are rude and unhelpful. It's really a shame .
We have had multiple problem s trying to get our billing figured out with the YMCA Norman. No one returns our phone calls and the staff cannot answer our questions. We have had staff members say rude things to our children during childcare and nothing was resolved. I had a ball that was used for a game an d was lost the staff member said they would replace it for me. We left notes and phone...
I put my child in this program and returned early one day only to find him roaming around the building unsupervised. I don't trust the quality of childcare at this YMCA. When I complained to the director I was treated in a very harsh and arrogant manner by him.
Like most reviewers, I was horribly unimpressed with the facilities at this YMCA. The women's locker rooms were decently clean, but the pool was FILTHY. I cannot stress this enough. The pool was absolutely DISGUSTING. While swimming laps one morning, my hand got caught in a massive gob of hair. When looking at the bottom of the pool, there were literally masses of hair floating on the bottom...
