I owned an auto repair shop in O'Fallon Missouri for 28 years. Over the years, I've purchased several cylinder heads from Clearwater and have never had a problem. The cylinder heads I received looked like new heads, not reconditioned. I'm now the Automotive Program Director for Vatterott College in St. Charles, Mo. In fact, I'm about to call them for a price on a head for a 2005 Jeep Liberty.

I have purchased remanufactured heads from this company for several years and have been pleased with their services, If I ever had any problems a quick phone call to them and they always helped me resolve the issue weather it was my mistake or a miss understanding when gave them the information. Called on Monday morning and was told it would take one day to prepare a head for me. It's now Thursday and I still have no head. I called and was told to take a hike!!

I ordered a remanufactured head and timing kit. First, the tensioner was faulty and bent all the valves at the hit of the key. My tech had me inspect all timing marks before closing up the engine and all was correct. The tensioner was preprimed with oil and the oil pumped up before plugging in the coils.
