This is my friends and I 2nd time eating at City Lights of China and the food is VERY TASTY and cooked to PERFECTION. It is a authentic Chinese restaurant, the best that we have had. We flew in a day earlier just so we would have enough time to visit the restaurant. We were not at all disappointed.

The emphasis in City Lights of China the basement restaurant is on fabulous and reasonably priced food. It is very popular among Dupont Circle diners, so expect quite a crush at peak dining hours. The menu is extensive, with hearty soups served in meal-size portions and entrees that include extravagant dishes, such as whole sea bass.
