not worth the price of admission

This is the oldest cinema in Baton Rouge and it shows. The seats are not as comfortable and it's not a plush as the other cinemas. Some of the screens have blemishes. At least one screen was severly damaged from a hurricane that happened more than a year ago. This screen has three large rips that distract the viewer. The theatre gets one star because of it's location in the middle of Baton Rouge. Otherwise, it's a substandard theater.

Pros

+ good location

Cons

- damaged screens, dirty, uncomfortable seats

Stay ""in"" Alive

That was the title of the movie which I thought was OK. This movie was based on a Video Game in which if you die in the game you die for real. The only really good thing about the Movie was it was filmed in New Orleans ,Baton Rouge and parts of my hometown of St.Bernard. It was very nice to see what the city looked like in this film Pre-Katrina. So I rate this one a "" Go See"" based on the scenery.

You can buy tickets on line but you still have to stand IN line to pick them up. Not good. AND, once inside the theater, it's so dark you can't tell if there are people sitting in the rows. How about some lights so we can see the seats?
