Disappointing

I love Indian food. The food here was bland, watered down (!?) and strangely salty. To top it off the owner was extremely rude and entitled for how less than mediocre the food was.

Chutneys Bistro Restaurant Review

Housed in the charming brick Wallingford Center, a former elementary school renovated into shops and casual restaurants, this neighborhood favorite featuring North Indian cuisine is as stylish as its revamped organic menu. Leaning heavily towards vegetarian preparations, it features dishes such as flame-roasted eggplant purée with cumin, tomatoes and fresh herbs; homemade farmer’s cheese with a...

My new favorite Indian spot! The weekend lunch buffet is under $13 with so many delicious options, including, a gluten free options and many meatless dishes. I usually end up eating lots of naan to compensate for saltiness at buffets but not at Chutney's; the food is flavorful but not salty! They also have tasty small dessert bites. Great service. I will definitely be back.

Five hungry travelers stopped at Chutney's for lunch. We asked for a menu but then looked at the buffet and marveled over roasted vegetables perfectly spiced, spinach with garbanzos, lentils, nan bread. There was delicious looking tandoori chicken but I recently switched to a plant based diet and lost 10 lbs and 80 cholesterol so I did not indulge. We...

We were seated right away. When we started to order, the waiter stopped us and told us about the "special" and we were glad he did as it saved us money.
We had a plate that included small bowls...

Seattle’s version of upscale Indian food

Always delicious, a little on the pricey side.

This time, I opted to do pickup, since I didn't want to spend $35 on just myself to get delivery (normally, my wife and I can easily spend that much). Food was ready on time when I showed up.…
