Dr. Zakir and his staff are extremely helpful. Often I can walk in without an appointment and be seen the same day if I'm patient. He and his staff work to keep my treatments by in-network providers if he has to refer me out.

Stay away from this doctor. I went to emergency room 01/31/2016 and transferred to Memorial Hermann for possible heart problems. This dr came in and said nothing wrong with your heart,but since you're here we have to keep you. Admitted 5 months later diagnosed witwith copd. I could have died because he didn't care. Stay away!!

Scheduled an appointment with him, was attended by his PA. That's fine. She told me I had the flu after I told her I'd been on antibiotics for strep for a week and was not feeling better but she did not swab me for flu. Told me she would send medications for me to my pharmacy. Tried picking them up but it turns out she never sent them. Called, no answer, left a message, no call back. Not going...

There are not enough words to put together to say how much I appreciate and trust him. I have seen him for standard colds to a strange ailment. He is extremely thorough and goes the extra mile. I got xrays done at Memorial Hermann and he was able to pull up the xrays and bloodwork from his desk. I have since talked my mom into visiting him and she really listens to him and trusts him 100% and...

Doesn't listen to the patient... Gave me Toradol which is an NSAID and I have crohns..with crohns you don't take NSAIDs can cause rectal bleeding. Just a miserable experience with him.
