I don't now where these people ate but I had one of the worst meals of my life at Ching Hua - The Cherry Pork tasted like it was days old. The Noodles with Peanut sauce was so bad I took one bit and asked the waiter to take it away. Which he still charged me for. The only thing I can say good about it is the Su Mei was not bad.

I was delighted to find this restaurant. I had about given up on finding good Chinese food in Alameda. Everything was prepared wonderfully with fresh ingredients. Slightly more expensive but well worth it.

This cozy, unassuming little restaurant is a popular place for noodle soups. Choices include sliced duck with noodles and beef with noodles. The food here is great and the prices quite reasonable, although the restroom entrance is located outside. The business is conveniently situated in the Park Street shopping district.
The restaurant encourages dining in house rather than carrying out, but if you must grab and go, ask them which dishes travel best.
There is a $10 corkage fee and an $8 cake-cutting fee, and management requires a $10 minimum charge per person.
