Combining high-end shopping with upscale living and dining spaces, The Market Common features stores like Banana Republic, Anthropologie, Barnes & Noble, and Tommy Bahama. A movie theater, playgrounds, bountiful year-round outdoor festivals, and a park with a man-made lake and bike path make it a day-trip destination.
It was a great place to rent for a week. I wish that they would continue to rent out the apartment in the future. It was nice having shopping, eating establishments and a swimming pool within the complex. I would stay there again if they were available to rent. I would recommend this place to others.
The Market Common is a great place to shop and dine. You can find some unique places. It was a wonderful place to stay as well. Unfortunately, they no longer rent rooms for short stays. They only book for long term rentals, which is a huge disappointment. Not sure why this happened. I'm hoping a few bad renters didn't ruin it for the rest of us.
I wish more stores were opened. We got there before 8pm on New Years Eve and Barnes and Noble and most other stores were closed. The atmosphere was not festive and most people didn't stay. I enjoyed the bands but not many vendors there. I'll try Broadway next time.
It would have been better if all the stores were open. We were there on vacation during the hurricane. The sun came out the day we left. 8 days of rain. Next time we go down. We will try it again. Did have my first experience with Charming Charlies. Love it. Shopped the store up here in Massachusetts for Christmas.
Market Common has something for everyone . I call Market Common "My Happy Place ." I love walking around the Grand Park .
