It was along day and I was on empty.., How can you go wrong with fried chicken ?
In we went and saw the catfish... So we ordered both. Chicken is always good. The coleslaw made daily is hard to beat anyplace. Fresh rolls and fried okra for my partner.
Came the food. The catfish caught my eye. Huge pieces...

Good fried chicken

If you like fried chicken outside of a national chain, this would be the place. Good hot fresh chicken, especially the chicken strips. Not a fan of the gravy, but that's a personal thing, I don't like white gravy.

This is a very old restaurant and the food is prepared like the place looks...crappy. Chicken Express usually has great chicken but I would not go to this CE location. Southlake or Alliance area locations are much better and cleaner. I drive past this location to eat at the other two.
