Decent atmosphere but pricey for the servings you get. It's not a place I would rush back to any time soon. Downtown location is good

Fresh, natural food. This place is excellent! The moved from their downtown spot to Riverside. I need to find their new spot. Their food is excellent! Great flavor, local meats, etc.

Downtown needed you Chew. If your stay finds you downtown Jax there are few options - except this lovely little place. The food is so good it will knock your socks off.

Great little place downtown

Their salad dressings are to die for. The duck salad is amazing, I am soooo additcted to it! I work on the southbank and it is worth the drive and fight for a parking spot. Never had anything but the salad, it's just too amazing to pass up but everything looks great on the menu. Good selection for lunch.

At Chew Restaurant, an effort is made to serve great food by using quality products which are either made in-house or sourced from outside. Try the vanilla-peppercorn lobster salad along with any of the entrées and wash it down with a wine or beer of your choice. If you are not in the mood for a lavish dinner, choose from the sandwiches section with a choice of side salad or potato chips.
