5 star fine dining food without the cost. Chef had daily features that aren't on the regular menu. Eat with us and see why Chef Franson is known as the People's Chef.
It's a great place - but space is limited. Almost ruins the night out if you don't get there early enough. But the clam chowder bread bowl is to die for - for only 6.99. Great linguini and alfredo sauce as well. Absolutely great food. Bummer you can't drink on the premisis, however. But you can buy your beer to go when done eating.
Second time eating at Chef Point. Had lunch the first time and breakfast this time. My wife had the hot brown and it tasted amazing! I had the omlett also good. My mother had the chicken and waffles. Everything tasted great my only complaint would be the prices are to high in my opinion. The service was wonderful. Chris took great care of us. I recommend eating here anytime just bring more cash...
Haven't eaten here in years and returned to expanded digs and the same great food for Thanksgiving.
Lobster bisque was excellent, but the silly bread bowl just gets in the way and adds nothing to the dish but weight. The fried green tomatoes was the only disappointment; they were perfectly fried, but the pairing with cold rubbery fresh mozzarella adds...
Have heard many favorable comments on Chef Pointe. Visited on a Monday evening to avoid the crowds. Had a very pleasant experience with above average food except for one order of lamb chops which were very tough. Service was a little spotty but maybe the second team was working Monday's.
