Seems they can just shut their business down overnight and not even notify the employees or the public. Second Restaurant to do this in Springfield Illinois this year. That shows bad business practices. Will never go to another one after leaving our community like they just did today!!!!!

We visited this Cheddars twice while we were vacationing in Springfield. Both times we had exceptional service and the food was delicious and cooked to order. It was a good restaurant for a chain restaurant. The chicken fingers were good, but a little dry. The honey roll was yummy, but not worth the extra money we had to pay for them. The cookie dessert was worth every penny.

Cheddar's is a good, middle of the road restaurant. Good food, great menu and above average service. This property tends to be crowded due to it location within walking distance of several hotels/motels. We eat there several times per year and have always enjoyed the experience. Nothing fancy, just good food.
