Chase's Daily

A vegetarian restaurant that doesn't make a point of being too politically correct, this place maintains a good balance between hearty food and sophisticated menu items. It's operated by a local farm family who grow much of the produce cooked here. Breakfast ranges from simple oatmeal to breakfast burritos and fruit smoothies; lunch segues nicely into a menu of soups, sandwiches, and salads, with an emphasis on Asian, Latin American, and European themes. Coffee drinks are high quality: Chase's serves fair-trade roasted beans from New York's fine Porto Rico coffeehouse. And the baked goods, produced in house, are wonderful as well. The room is inviting and light-filled; note the tongue-and-groove wooden floorboards and pressed-tin ceiling. There's also a farm stand in half of the space.

Excellent lunch on a sunny patio

Squeezed in just a few minutes before lunch was ending so the kitchen was closed and the selection limited but it was the best lunch of a weeklong trip. Had two types of fresh pizza/flatbread that were excellent. All fresh made and home baked. The...patio out back is comfortable with well spaced tables. Not much of a view ;-) but the food more than makes up for it.

Good gone bad...sadly

This was our first visit to Chases since the pandemic hit. We were happy to hear they had reopened, and having eaten there before, couldn't wait to get back.
Sadly, our experience will likely prevent us from dining here again.
While the food was "ok"...the...total lack of organization by staff led to exceptional delays both in ordering and then delivery of food.

Delicious food, lovely staff, great outdoor seating (for the Covid era) and fantastic freshly grown produce for sale. Nothing to complain about. We left 100% happy!

Breakfast and lunch options include pizza at Chase’s Daily. It has a very granola vibe. The layout is pretty unique with lots of plants interspersed around the building. You can also get some decent coffee. In the morning there are several breakfast options. The restaurant...is on the Main Street area. It opens at certain times for break and lunch.

Tuesday through Sunday Chase's Daily serves breakfast and lunch, and on Friday dinner is also served. Artisan breads, pastries, and baked goods are offered. As well as espresso, coffee, and tea.
