I have loved Jake's ever since I moved to Dallas in 1992. I used to to to the one on Skillman/Abrams all the time. Now I live in Fort Worth and this one opened up down the street from me. This location is much nicer with a sports bar vibe and cute waitresses and bartenders. Same great burgers and tater tots! I am looking forward to trying their breakfast!

Welcome To The Neighborhood!. This Jakes replaced the one that used to be on Camp Bowie Boulevard in the Ridglea area. I didn't care for that franchise, and it recently closed. Since I had gone to it about five years ago, I never formally reviewed it, but I remembered not being very impressed about the burger. I wanted to give it another chance and got around to it today. I'm so glad I did....
