The food there is decent, but the prices are outrageous. You will pay here what you pay for a restaurant where there are servers and waitresses. It says it's not fast food, but everything about it...

Bland. On the whole, I found the chicken, potatoes and gravy and cole slaw all to be more bland than Col. Sanders. The chicken was a little less greasy, but I just didn't find that much flavor in the food. This is the second time I've eaten at a Charlie's and again I was non-plussed. I don't think I'll be back.

I love their livers and gizzards! Their food is good, service is good and the place is clean. I would recommend Charlie's Chicken and Barbecue in McAlester, Oklahoma.

Blah!!. Not very good. "Chopped" plate had some kind of meat that was pretty much pulverized into a ugly heap of crap. Sides were ok. I did not like this place and would not recommend it.
