A lovely afternoon

We thoroughly enjoyed our hour long kayaking followed by lunch. The folks who run the place greeted us warmly and took good care of us. We plan on making this a regular stop.

Have been here several times for breakfast most recently with a Livingsocial that included a one hour kayak on the Charles River.
We really like sitting on the rear deck overlooking the Charles watching the Kayakers come and go. My wife liked her Eggs Benedict but my Western Omelet
was dry and overcooked. The home fries were good as was...

I don't agree with the previous review and wonder how many times the reviewer ate at the Charles. I have been to breakfast, lunch, and dinner many times. The food is not bland. There's a wide selection and you can have breakfast food all day. The atmosphere is comfortable and lively. The service is very friendly and accommodating. I often take my family there when they are visiting. I recommend...

My wife & I are from Plymouth and were in the Millis area visiting friends. We stopped and had a late lunch here on our way home. Excellent!!!! The food and staff were great. The outside deck and view were extremely relaxing. We will be back this summer for lunch and to try kayaking the Charles.
