We held our wedding reception at Chapman's during the summer of 2009. Chapman's did a wonderful job all the way around. We were able to meet with the events coordinator a few times beforehand to work out the details. They were very flexible and willing to make our day very special.

The food was great, the venue is well kept, and the service was excellent. We would recommend Chapman's.

We had a great time at Chapman's for dinner, but the variance in my ratings represent a HUGE disappointment in brunch. I agree with the poster before me (we had brunch around a month ago) -- the food was not very good. Most of it tasted generic or frozen. My grandma loves this place, and she's probably the age of the average customer. Decor is nice. The Sunday brunch was $15 total with tax and $2.00 coffee. For that price I expect excellent food, but it was just OK.

I don't agree that this restaurant is only for special occasions. Nor is it pricey...salad, entree, and two side dishes for less than $20! This is a great restaurant. My only complaint is that the decor is a little dated...but I understand they are closing to do some major renovations this month.

This is one of the fancier restaurants in Bloomington. Save it for special events. The food is, well, upper class and thus rather limited in selection and pricey. But the service and the atmosphere is also part of the cost. A good friendly staff, I strongly recommend reservations.
