The "WOW" in the chicken is what makes the south. It was better than expected. The flavor was amazing! I love the crust of the chicken and could just eat that but this was excellent. If you like hot and fried,get the appetizers fried jalapeños.... you will always remember them. .

Great chicken. Small restaurant but with great attitude. Parking on the side of the restaurant. Call ahead for orders. Also good for take out.

I'm a local and I love to visit Champy's. Their fried chicken is delicious and they have other interesting food such as tamales and fried dill pickle spears. The day we went, they also had a special...crawfish! Add a jalapeno pepper to your order and eat up!

First time at Champy's and really enjoyed it. I went with the catfish and it was great. Very flakey and tasted delicious. French fries and slaw can standard, but you can substitute for other sides. Wasn't impressed with the slaw but not a big fan of slaw anyways. The place was pretty packed but didn't have too wait too long,...

I bought into the hype of "best" chicken in the South so I was underwhelmed at the flavor. It's good chicken but nothing exceptional. Our waitress offered lukewarm service. Maybe I'll try them again to see if I was mistaken.
