Good food, nice atmosphere, slightly expensive

The food, and atmosphere and service were pretty good for a Thai restaurant. My only slight negative is the prices were slightly more than I would expect given the portion sizes compared a place like Saladang in Pasadena. This is a good place for those who like simple presentation and don't want to feel overly stuffed with too huge of a plate - but that's what doggie bags are for!

average thai place

I was really excited when this place first opened, as it was supposed to be closer to authentic and was initially well reviewed. When I went there with some friends for lunch, the food was average, my pad thai was bland, they didn't seem to have extra chili available, and the service was absent-minded.

UPDATE: Tried this place yet again and was totally diappointed. :-( (Edited July 18, 2007)

Chadaka Thai Restaurant Review

All the dishes are made using the freshest ingredients: this philosophy has been in place as long as Chadaka Thai has been in operation. All your Thai favorites like Issan sausage, tom kha soup, mussaman and crying tiger taste like they've been taken up a notch, while the modern décor provides a more sophisticated environment than one's everyday local Thai restaurant.

Hip, inventive Thai eatery brings an Eastside vibe to downtown Burbank.

In Short

Service quite slow

I liked the location and the ambience but the service was quite slow. They explained it was busy hence the wait. The food was yummy but the portions are a bit small for the price.

LOVE THIS PLACE. Food is always delicious. I usually order the thai spicy rice with chicken, which has a great flavor and lots of onions, bell peppers and chicken. Their delivery service always delivers quicker than the posted delivery time, and they have a very friendly staff. I 100% recommend eating here to satisfy your Thai food cravings!
