SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY! We contacted Josh at CF Landscape to put in new sod with and irrigation line with concrete edging and red mulch to surround the grass for our backyard. He ended up no showing TWICE without communication and we were not able to get the concrete edging (per contract) because the sub contractor for the edging would not call us. He told us, “I can’t make him call you.” But that is HIS responsibility. Anyway we ended up not getting the concrete edging, but the old metal edging which we specifically did not want. Which we now have to pay more to get it taken out and replaced with what we wanted in the first place. He also forgot to put in the weed fabric we requested (per contract), which we ended up not putting in, but still THIS WAS IN THE CONTRACT! Due to us getting a new lawn with sod the City of Aurora requires people to get water permits. He did not like that one bit. Originally we gave him 50% at the beginning and the rest when the job was finished. He finally got out here on a Sunday, but the inspector wasn’t to get out to our house until Monday. When it was all finished his Sprinker guy(who was very nice) asked us for the rest of the money. We declined to give him the check because in our minds the job is not finished unless we pass the inspection. Needless to say Josh did not like this. He went on and on how the City of Aurora doesn’t determine his payment(Actually, they do if your getting new sod) and threatened my wife saying he was going “To get his money one way or another”. Which he would have gotten on time if he hadn’t no showed TWICE, when we scheduled the inspector. He eventually apologized, but my wife was very upset. He also whined that he thought we were “cool” and gave us all this free stuff(Which we ended up paying full price anyway. HE IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! We ended up passing inspection we paid him full price and the quality of the work seems on par with what we paid for. I thought it was funny he kept bragging on and on how “We only do big jobs and this one is so small.”But we received the flyer by mail from them. Even though this is a small job to him, it’s a big deal to us. Josh has no customer service skills and extremely incompetent. There were red flags along the way, but we did not heed them. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!! WE DO NOT WANT THIS TO HAPPEN TO SOMEONE ELSE.
