Central Library, Lost & Found

Historic Central Library in downtown Portland is the heart of the Multnomah County Library system. First opened in September 1913 and extensively renovated in 1996-97, Central Library houses over 875 tons of books and other library materials. That's more than 17 miles of bookshelves! Central also offers Multnomah County residents some 130 computer search stations.
