I have very long hair and Sarah did a great job with my highlights/weave, and she also gave me a great trim without taking too much off. Her prices are very reasonable and she's pleasant to be around.
If you have not yet encountered Patrick Mullins of Celtic Carma, you are missing a bet. Patrick trained with and toured with Vidal Sassoon, and is a whiz at precision cutting. Plus which, he's charming. Celtic Carma is in the midst of Ventura's interesting downtown. With the beach 3 blocks away and great restaurants, art and gift shops all around, it's worth a trip for a haircut.
A passable haircut. I was spoiled by Karen Allen Aveda in Riverside which does a neck massage & aromatherapy, but we were a bit late so not offered coffee or water even. Will try again and show up on time.
